Second Wind

The Greek word for spirit is identical with that of wind and breath. Long distance runners speak of second wind, a transition from aerobic to anaerobic oxidisation in the muscles (what?! I'm not a runner, I don't know these things!).

As a long term traveller, a pilgrim on a longer journey, you too will have to change breathing from a travel driven by merely your own resources to journeying in the Breath Wind of God.
